Processing Tools


Quest maintains a library of routines which have been developed to solve particular problems for clients reprocessing vintage navigation data. This library includes decoders for most of these formats, converting these formats into the modern P2 format which can then be processed using a navigation system such as GeoMetis MX.

Examples of formats we can currently convert are:

  • Horizon Binning System (HBS)
  • CGG GIN
  • Western Atlas NAVA
  • Western Atlas NAVC
  • Western Atlas Wisdom (WUG03)
  • Magnavox
  • P286
  • SSL

As the vintage navigation formats underwent many changes during their lifetimes, it is not possible to offer these tools as a discrete product. If you have any old navigation data you wish to reprocess, we can work with you to ensure the data is decoded and process properly. For more information contact us.
